Tragic Discovery: Missing 40-Year-Old Found Dead in Brewery, Police Open Murder Investigation

A murder investigation has been initiated following the discovery of a body belonging to a missing man at a former brewery site.

The body of Andrew Bray, also known as Andrew Boltwood, was found after he was reported missing a week prior.

Authorities indicated that the 40-year-old man was allegedly assaulted before his disappearance.

West Yorkshire Police received information that directed them to the old brewery in Huddersfield, where the body was identified.

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Cox stated: “While a formal post-mortem examination is yet to occur, we believe Andrew was assaulted before his body was discovered. Following inquiries at the scene, we are treating this incident as a murder investigation.”
