A MILLIONAIRE Hot Seat contestant was left perplexed by a straightforward question about a classic book on the newly launched spin-off.
The revamped show, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson and inspired by the iconic Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, premiered at the beginning of the New Year, receiving praise from enthusiastic viewers for its challenging format.

However, just a week into the series, contestants have struggled with some surprisingly simple questions.
Last night’s blunder came from player Veronica Wint, who was asked about a beloved childhood novel.
The recruitment manager from Essex appeared on screens during the latest episode of the spin-off and was introduced to the game by host Jeremy.
She sat down with the former Top Gear presenter, who repeated the question posed to a previous contestant, Daisy Gilby, who had passed the question.
Jeremy asked Veronica: “Which of these classic books features a pig named Gub-Gub?”
The character, who eventually learns to talk, appears in multiple editions of a well-known collection of children’s fiction.
The options given were The Sheep Pig, Charlotte’s Web, Animal Farm, and The Story of Doctor Dolittle.
Despite the question being passed down by Birmingham resident Daisy, new contestant Veronica failed to seize the opportunity with this easy trivia.
Already appearing uncertain, Veronica remarked: “Fitting that a vegetarian would get the question about a pig.”
Taking a “stab in the dark,” as she described it, Veronica ultimately chose “Charlotte’s Web.”
Viewers witnessed her hands-on-head moment as she locked in her answer, unaware that the correct answer belongs to a generational classic book series still popular today.
Host Jeremy, who won an NTA last year for his Prime Video original series Clarkson’s Farm, was left to reveal her outcome.
“I’m afraid that’s the wrong answer,” the game show host announced, as the correct answer, The Story of Doctor Dolittle, was highlighted in green.
This book series has been enjoyed by millions of children worldwide.
But this wasn’t the first surprising error of the new ITV show.
Just days earlier, Nabeel Nauzer from London was asked to perform a simple French to English translation regarding the days of the week.
As he sat in the hot seat, Jeremy asked: “The French phrase ‘vendredi soir’ translates into English as what?”

Nabeel hesitated for mere seconds before telling Jeremy he would be using his pass option.
