Watch migrant swipe bag from pub - as judge slams him for ‘abusing UK's kindness’

THIS is the brazen moment a migrant swiped a bag from a pub – as a judge slammed the gang of thieves for abusing Britain’s kindness.

Adam Zawi, who claims to be 21, Oussama Fadage, 35, and Aouidj Abderaouf, 29, took two bags with £4,000 of valuables in financial district in July.

Shocking footage shows Abderaouf stealing one of the bags, which contained a £1,300 laptop, a £450 AirPlus 2 reader, and £300 Sony headphones, from The Walrus and The Carpenter pub.

He can be seen brazenly strolling over to a booth and picking up his loot before walking out.

Abderaouf has now been jailed for 36 weeks, while Zawi and Fadage were locked up for a year.

Algerian Zawi came to Britain in 2023, the other two in 2021.

Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard Zawi was living in a three-star hotel at the taxpayer’s expense at the time.

He has six previous convictions for theft, while Fadage has three.

District Judge Snow said: “This is an appalling situation. I am dealing with a situation where all defendants have no right to live in this country.

“They claim they need protection to live in this country, and then return that by stealing from citizens of this country.

“They went out with a plan to steal from citizens of this country.

“They took advantage of people who were distracted because they were socialising.

“The fact that the property was returned has nothing to do with these defendants, it is because they were caught.”

The judge also said that defendant Zawi ‘’must think I was born yesterday if he thinks I believe he is 21. He is older than that.’’

He went on: ‘’These three defendants are committed criminals.

“There is no realistic prospect of rehabilitation. I am satisfied that an appropriate punishment can only be achieved by imposing an immediate sentence of imprisonment.

“Even if you are all released from after you serve half of your sentences, the should consider deportation as a likely outcome here.

“Details of their convictions need to be passed to the Home Office, especially as they have made claims for asylum.”

An application to ban the thieves from entering the will be heard on a date to be fixed.
