She reveals to half-brother Tommy that she’s heading to stay with her sister Lynne for a few weeks, and invites him to come with her.

The offer comes after Tommy shares his concerns about former BFF Joel returning to Walford after being released from a young offender’s institution.
It was Tommy reporting Joel’s attack on Vicki to the police that led the misogynistic teen to be punished for his behaviour, but Tommy tells Zoe: “He’s going to call me a let-down. Blame getting locked up on soft guys like me being a pushover.”
Zoe’s offer to leave Walford for a bit is music to Tommy’s ears, but their departure is only temporary.

A spokeswoman for the BBC said : “We can confirm Zoe Slater will be departing EastEnders later this year, we wish Michelle Ryan all the best for the future.
“However, we never comment on future storylines as we don’t want to spoil it for the viewers.”
