, describing it as a “miracle.”
Govers added that a “mistake” had been made, hinting at an overlap in the two relationships.
, saying: “It is with great sadness that I inform you that Daphne and I have decided to end our relationship.
“As a result, I have withdrawn from the upcoming tournaments.
“I am sorry to disappoint my fans, but I trust that they will understand my decision.
“We are going through difficult times and ask everyone to respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

On the pregnancy, she said last year: “I didn’t expect it. I was at the hospital with the other two, too.
“I couldn’t have gotten pregnant naturally.
“If it does happen, it’ll be a miracle.”
And when asked about ending her relationship with Van Gerwen, she added: “My world was completely turned upside down.
“How am I going to handle this?
“But in the end, it all worked out. It’s more than welcome.”
Govers admitted: “Of course a mistake was made on my part, everyone knows that.
“We don’t have to hide that. I’d rather keep the story private.”
She also told Dutch media: “I wouldn’t dare say [how Van Gerwen feels].
“I don’t think he’s very happy, but I really don’t know.”
The Green Machine returned from his break to win the World Series Finals last year, beating in the final.

Speaking afterwards, : “It gets on my t**s sometimes, to be fair.
“Every day I get messages, people asking me things about it. At some point I had enough.
“Let me live my life with my kids, it’s as simple as that.
“It’s not OK now, but I’m sorting it, but it’s a private, personal issue.
“Of course it was crossing my mind for not going, but it’s always nice to blame something afterwards.
“I’m not that kind of guy, everyone knows that.
“You always need to stand beside your choice.
“I had a few things, if I wasn’t going people would have questions, if I played s*** people would have questions, you know what I mean?
“There was no good, whatever I did. But I stand behind my pick.
“I went to the tournament and, if I look behind me, I think maybe I shouldn’t have gone, but it is what it is.
“Yeah. I hope things get better, but worse than it was, it’s not possible.”
Shortly before that, , explaining: “We certainly didn’t expect this, because he was building well and training.
“He was hit by a real sledgehammer in his private life. That made it a truly miserable week.
“And if that’s a mess, then it’s really not easy.
“All of a sudden you get blindsided by external factors.
“He was up for it again and then he gets knocked back.
“This time it wasn’t surprising that he wasn’t at his best.
“But the Tour waits for no one and elite sport is ruthless.”
