BRITS have been told to brace for 80mph winds which could present a “danger to life”.
The Met Office will be placing much of the country under in just days, as the wet weather sweeps in.

The huge wave of wet weather is expected to throw the nation’s public links and major motorways into chaos.
Also, the Met Office has warned that the winds could lead to falling debris while the heavy rains could cause flash floods.
Ahead of the storms, homeowners have been advised to secure loose outdoor items including , bins and garden furniture.
The yellow weather warning will cover much of the west and southwest of England, as well as the entirety of Wales.
Also, much of southern and the north west have been placed under the weather warning.
The warning will last from 8pm on Sunday to 6pm on Monday.
An average wind speed of 60mph is expected around the nation’s coasts and hills, which could build up to 80mph in exposed locations.
The Met Office has confirmed that the most violent weather is expected on Monday morning, when it will steadily begin to head eastwards.
Paul Gundersen, chief meteorologist at the Met Office, said: “We have been monitoring a deepening area of low pressure over the North Atlantic that might bring impactful weather to the UK, most likely on Sunday and Monday.
“At present, a named storm is unlikely.”

- The weather will be changeable, with a mixture of sunny spells and showers.
- Brits can expect highs of 18C in most parts of the UK
Saturday 13th September
- The weather on Saturday will be similar to Friday
- However, there will be more showers in coastal areas than Friday
Sunday 14th September
- Low pressure over the Atlantic will lead to a wave of storms across the UK
- The entirety of Wales and much of western England will be placed under a yellow weather warning
- Wind speeds of 80mph are expected in some areas
- However, eastern parts of the UK can expect sunnier weather
Monday 15th September
- Although there will be highs of 18C, the winds will be greater than Sunday
- Much of the UK can expect cloudy weather and rain as the storms continue
Tuesday 16th September
- There will be sunny intervals and a moderate breeze as the storm clears
- There will be highs of 18C in some parts of Britain
