MEL B’s wishes for her stunning wedding dress have been revealed, as well as the beautiful meaning behind the Spice Girl’s unique gown.
Mel looked sensational in a white gown with dazzling detail around the collar and sleeves, and showed off a glamorous makeup look on her wedding day, as she held on to her veil while leaving her hotel on Saturday.
was then whisked from her hotel to St Paul’s Cathedral in a Rolls Royce, with a member of the wedding party, showing off her dress in all its glory.
It’s now been revealed that Spice Girl Mel wanted a bespoke gown that embodies strength, sensuality, and timeless glamour.
Mel worked closely with Evelie bridal and designer Josephine Scott to design a georgette crepe gown with a sculpted corset bodice.
And designer Josephine has revealed Mel’s hopes for the dress, telling The Sun: “Designing this gown for Mel was about capturing her fearless spirit and softness all in one look.
“She’s iconic, powerful, and radiant — and this dress had to be worthy of that.
“Every detail was chosen to honour her strength and sensuality, while celebrating the woman and the love story beneath the girl power.”;
They also explained how the unique dress has been designed, with a sheer illusion detachable jacket, and featuring hand-embellished pearl constellations.
Josephine adds: “A cathedral-length veil, embroidered with scattered pearls, completed the look with majestic grace as to walk down the aisle and add extra drama.”;
Commenting on the experience of designing Mel’s dress, Evelie Bridal owner Caroline said: “From the moment Mel walked through the doors at Evelie, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.
“Helping a real Spice Girl choose her wedding dress—what could possibly top that? But what’s truly made this experience so meaningful is getting to know Mel as just Mel—not the icon, but the woman. It’s been such an honour.”;
Mel accessorised with white heels, and pearl drop earrings, with the star opting for an elegant up do for the big day.
And singer led the star-studded arrivals at Mel B‘s London wedding.
Baby Spice, 49, wore a pale pink frock and matching hat as she rocked up to St Paul’s Cathedral with husband Jade Jones and son Beau.
She finished off her summery look with glittering silver high heels.
Mel will marry Rory McPhee today at St Paul’s Cathedral – and it’s nothing short of a star-studded affair.
