Mbaoma leaves Rwandan champions APR after two years

Rwandan Premier League champions, APR FC have announced the departure of Nigerian forward Victor Mbaoma from the club.

Mbaoma is leaving the Kigali club following the expiration of his contract.

The 26-year-old won the domestic double with APR last season.

The former Enyimba striker was joint-top scorer in the league with 15 goals in the 2023/24 season.

Mbaoma also scored twice in four appearances for the club in the CAF Champions League.

He also played a key role as the Lions successfully defended their title last season.
