Maya said: “I don’t love that since Ozempic, anyone that’s slim, people are like, ‘Ozempic, Ozempic, Ozempic.’

“Some of us are naturally marga [skinny] and we don’t want to be. We like being a bit thicker, but it’s hard. Just bear that in mind, alright?”

“I know there’s no sympathy for the slimmers, but it’s a bit hard out here sometimes.”

She added: “My tip for the girlies trying to gain, though, is to lift weights. I’ve gained weight before and I will do it again.”

The presenter, 31, , also credits Pilates for helping her stay toned.

Maya is a regular at reformer Pilates sessions at Nobu London.

She said: “Everyone I know is riding the Pilates wave, so I decided to start, and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s a lighter workout but you’re using every single muscle.

“You can also do it at midday, and it doesn’t leave you drenched with sweat. It’s the only form of exercise that I don’t have to talk myself into doing, and that’s a big thing for me.”

The TV star also revealed she never skips a workout, often waking early to squeeze one in before filming.

“When I’m away filming, I try to wake up early so I can fit in a workout before arriving on set. It helps get me in the zone,” she told Women’s Health.

Away from the cameras, Maya is a huge foodie and regularly shares snaps of indulgent meals with her followers.

Sharing on Instagram, the star said: “I don’t eat junk food 24/7… I eat very balanced and don’t place any restrictions.”

Maya has also admitted she doesn’t follow a strict diet, once saying she’s “quite unhealthy in general” despite her slim frame.
