A DANCING On Ice legend has made a VERY awkward blunder while on live TV – and he’s been completely mortified by it.
, who left before its axe in 2023, has started a new career as a home shopping presenter – with things taking a rather hard turn for the worst this week.

Presenting on HSN, which is a teleshopping network in America, Matt made a hilarious and slightly NSFW blunder about “getting hard”.
He took to this week to address the Freudian slip and make light of it.
In the video he shared on Instagram, Matt could be seen covering his mouth looking incredibly disappointed as the song Something Stupid played in the background.
The video then cut to a clip of him presenting on US shopping channel HSN.
“Getting hard is,” he said while selling hearing aids on the live programme.
“Sorry,” he quickly said.
Matt added: “Getting old is hard enough,” correcting himself quickly.
In the caption of the post, he penned: “I’ve turned in my note for resignation. I’m sorry to all of you.”

Fans were quick to react to Matt’s hilarious slip up.
One person penned: “Omg IM SCREAMING.”
“I hope you’re ok at this hard… I mean difficult time,” said a second.
“Love me an occasional Freudian slip,” added a third.
“This is GOLD,” said a fourth.
While a fifth penned: “Give over, your the best- that’s hilarious- you’ve made my day and all us lot with dirty minds lol – NEVER Change!!”
And a sixth said: “That is awesome! Those moments are TV gold.”
Matt joined hit show in 2006.
He was a staple on the show for years and left fans gutted when he after 17 years in October 2023.
In a statement he shared at the time, he said: “I have some news to share. I knew this day would come at some point but I won’t be returning to Dancing on Ice this series.
“After 15 series of the show it was sadly time to hang up the skates for now. I have loved every minute of it (honestly!)
“I’ve had some incredible partners over the years and we have created some fantastic TV moments!
“I mean who can forget that fall from Gemma, or the wardrobe malfunction from Pamela!”
Dancing on Ice then officially concluded on March 9, 2025, after opted to rest the series after dwindling ratings.
