LISANDRO MARTINEZ left his Manchester United pal in a daze BEFORE facing Brighton after smashing the ball of his FACE.

During the warm-up for theclash between the Premier League rivals at Old Trafford, the Argentina cap lived up to his “Butcher” nickname as he left needing treatment.

The Portugal star was checked and treated by medical staff during the warm-up after taking a hit to the face and was later spotted warming up with cotton wool inside both nostrils.

The quite incredible pre-match scenes grabbed the attention of punters online who were quick to react to what they had just witnessed
