A PITCH invader was tackled by security as Marcus Rashford was awarded the Man of the Match for his display against Newcastle.
, 27, is spending the season on loan at after being frozen out by manager .





The international had yet to open his goalscoring account for his new club.
That was until a second-half bullet header reminded Premier League fans just what he was capable of as he scored his first goal since October 2021.

scored a late consolation, but ultimately his Three Lions team-mates earlier goals won the match.
, Rashford was asked to take some pictures as he was awarded for his display with the Man of the Match gong.
However, two fans had to be stopped by security after making it onto the pitch.
One fan in a white shirt quickly took a picture before security ushered him away.
But a second fan in a black T-shirt had to be physically restrained by security staff as they attempted to run towards Rashford and his team-mates.
The fan was seen being escorted away from the players by the guard as Rashford posed for pictures.
SunSport have approached for comment on the incident.
Following his display, Rashford said he was full of excitement to rediscover his best form.
He told TNT Sports: “I’m full of excitement and I’m very motivated. It’s refreshing to play with these guys.
“It’s not an easy place to come here, I’ve won here a few times but not always played the way we wanted to play.
“I’m learning a lot. I’m enjoying it and it’s making me a better player.
“It’s an amazing experience, I’ve always been a huge admirer of Barcelona, we just want to win as much as possible.”
Speaking about Rashford’s performance, Barca boss Flick said: “We always see [this from Rashford] in training and we saw it today.
“I’m happy for him. In the offence we have a lot of good players and he’s one.
“I’m happy to have him. He gives us more options to follow the match. It’s great to have him.
“These two goals will help a lot to get Marcus to the next step. It’s so important he has the confidence and feels OK. These goals are unbelievable for him for the next steps.”
Rashford’s Barca team-mate was missing from the clash through injury, but reacted to the display with a fire emoji on social media.
United captain Bruno Fernandes also reacted online by sharing a video of the goal with a trio of stunned emojis.
