MANSFIELD owner Carolyn Radford was sensationally stopped in her tracks ahead of the FA Cup showdown with Arsenal – after Steve McManaman warned her not to wear a half-and-half scarf.

But when he climbed off the bench and sent a thunderbolt into the back of the net to seal a 2-1 win for Arsenal.
And things nearly got embarrassing for Radford, 43, before the clash even got underway.
The glamorous supremo joined TNT Sports presenter Becky Ives and former Liverpool and star McManaman pitchside for an interview.
Radford approached the desk with a half-and-half scarf in her hand and went to put it around her neck – only to be saved from committing the ultimate football sin.
McManaman, 54, said: “It’s a half-and-half scarf. It’s up to yourself. You lose credibility wearing half-and-half. Has anyone got a Mansfield scarf?”
Radford immediately followed the two-time Champions League winner’s clever advice and gingerly placed the scarf on the desk.
Mansfield reached the fifth round of the FA Cup after grabbing a shock win over Burnley last month.
And Stags owner Radford and her husband John could not believe their luck when they were handed the chance to welcome to Field Mill.
John, along with 12-year-old twin sons Rupert and Albert, are Gunners fans.
And it should not have come as a surprise when Radford appeared on live TV showing Mansfield and Arsenal’s colours.

before the clash: “We’ve already got our twins half-and-half scarves.
“They want Mansfield to win – of course – but it’s nice to see both their favourite teams playing.
“They’re big fans of so they’ll be hoping to meet him.
“It will be surreal seeing top Premier League superstars and Mikel Arteta at our stadium.”
