MANCHESTER UNITED wonderkids Chido Obi and Jim Thwaites shone bright during a behind-closed-doors friendly.

‘s young star Obi, 18, scored a brace against the Tractor Boys in the friendly.
And , 18, also got on the scoresheet after an impressive performance.
Obi joined the Red Devils in 2024 following four glittering years with Premier League foes ‘s academy, where he moved from Copenhagen.
The forward amassed a total of 32 goals and three assists in only 18 matches with the Gunners’ Under-18s.
The youth international also counts 13 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions with United’s U21s.
also made his senior debut in February 2025 and has since registered eight appearances with the first team.
Thwaites, on the other hand, has also impressed with a total of 13 goals and four assists in 48 appearances within United’s youth ranks.
However, the midfielder has yet to play for the Manchester giants’ first team.
But that hasn’t stopped fans’ praises for the Cumbrian as some have dubbed him a “cheat code”.
