Jamie Redknapp, a former Liverpool player, has advised Manchester United to sell their captain, Bruno Fernandes this summer.

Redknapp wants the Red Devils to use the money from the sale of Fernandes to invest in Ruben Amorim’s squad.

Fernandes was Man United’s stand-out performer this season as the team finished in 15th place on the Premier League table.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Redknapp also hailed the Portugal midfielder as a game-changer, adding that I’d the right money comes for him Ruben Amorim’s side should sell the 30-year-old.

Redknapp said: “I think apart from Leny Yoro, purely because he hasn’t been there long and he’s a young player, I think every single United player will be up for sale.

“I would [sell Fernandes] right now yeah and I’m a big fan.

“I think he [Fernandes] is a game-changer but I think if the right money came about and you could then invest into the squad and I think he is a good player, I think he is a top footballer.

“But if the right money were to come available and you can improve your squad,”;; he said.

Fernandes, 30, has attracted strong interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

He had already told United that if they don’t want his services anymore and want to make money .
