MANCHESTER UNITED academy graduate Sam Mather has shared a heartfelt goodbye to the club.
The winger, 21, is preparing to sign with Turkish team Kayserispor after spending 14 years at Manchester United.

Born in Salford, Mather gained senior experience during loan spells at various clubs, including Tranmere Rovers, but did not make a first-team appearance for the Red Devils.
Alongside a slideshow of his memorable moments, Mather posted on Instagram : “After 14 years, my journey at Man Utd has reached its conclusion.
“I want to express my gratitude to all the staff and players who have contributed to my development as a person and a player.
“I will always cherish my time here and wish the club nothing but success.
“On a personal note, it’s time for me to move on, and I’m excited to begin this new chapter!”
Mather was part of the United squad that clinched the FA Youth Cup in 2022.
Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho also played in the final, with Garnacho netting twice in a 3-1 victory.
Although Mather was anticipated to leave United last summer, at least one transfer deal fell through.
While it is confirmed that United will not receive a transfer fee for his move to Turkey, they will maintain a sell-on clause.
Mather also attracted interest from the American club New England Revolution but opted for Kayserispor, who are currently fighting relegation in the Turkish Super Lig, as his next destination.
The local talent has made only six appearances for the Under-21s this season, and the chances of him breaking into the first team seemed limited, despite being regularly included in senior training.
Currently, United is focused on providing opportunities for other young players within the first team.
Ayden Heaven started Wednesday’s 2-2 draw, with Shea Lacey coming off the bench and Jack Fletcher – son of interim manager Darren – remaining an unused substitute.
