Man Utd Unveils Bold New Kit for Champions League Comeback After Three-Year Hiatus as Carrick Gears Up for Sabah Challenge

MANCHESTER UNITED Foundation will be spotlighted on the team’s kit throughout the Champions League campaign.

United return to Europe’s elite competition tonight when they host debutants at Old Trafford after a three-year absence.

And Man Utd announced the charity’s logo will be featured on the back of the men’s team’s shirts for all games.

The Foundation was stablished in 2007 and works with over 30,000 young people each year.

It delivers 129 projects providing educational and community engagement programmes to help young participants make positive choices in their lives.

Manchester United Foundation CEO Ashley Hackett stated that putting the charity in the spotlight at top level will help drive awareness of all the life-changing work in the local community.

Hackett said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for us, offering unparalleled exposure on one of football’s biggest stages during ‘s famous European nights.

“We’re incredibly proud of the vital work we do to support young people from communities across Greater Manchester, where our impact is genuinely life changing.

“Proceeds generated from this initiative will be instrumental in helping us to continue to deliver our programmes that make a huge difference to those we work with.

“On behalf of everyone at the Foundation, I’d like to thank the club for this fantastic support.”

United fans will soon be able to support the initiative by visiting the club’s Megastore and have the logo printed onto their new or existing shirt.

Net profits will be donated to the Foundation to support its work with young people across Greater Manchester and beyond.
