And the teenage sensation doubled his tally four minutes later thanks to cutting inside and sending an unstoppable thunderbolt into the top corner of the net.
The pair of stunning strikes led to fans racing onto social media to cry out for Gabriel to be promoted to the first-team.
One said: “This kid is unbelievable.”
Another added: “Moment of sheer brilliance, what a screamer. JJ is destined for the top.”
A third noted: “Future first-teamer. Promote him yesterday.”
