Garnacho looked to have helped ‘s heavily-rotated side snatch all three points in the derby as he crossed a ball which deflected into the path of Moises Caicedo, who then smashed home a goal in the 85th minute.

And United fans, still bitter at the fallout of Garnacho’s unceremonious exit from the club, gleefully trolled their former player for his error.
One fan on social media said: “Me liking all Alejandro Garnacho’s hate tweets.”
A second said: “Garnacho losing his man who strolls in to cost his new club two points on his debut.”
A third added: “It’s Garnacho that loses him. Lol.”
Another said: “Wonderful insightful analysis from Jamie Redknapp highlighting Garnacho was responsible for Brentford’s stoppage time equaliser.”
However, Garnacho will have the chance to make amends and take revenge on his trolls when he faces his old club at his former stomping ground next weekend.
