MANCHESTER UNITED and Liverpool have set their sights on signing Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko, according to reports.
The 17-year-old has been one of the standout players in the Bundesliga this season.
The teenager has scored six top-flight goals, already four more than he managed throughout the whole of last season.
According to Sport Bild, the Premier League rivals are set to battle it out for the Dortmund star.
Dortmund want to keep the youngster, but his contract runs out in 2023.
The report claims that Moukoko could cost £26m.
Regardless, he will be hoping his explosive form will earn him a place in the Germany squad for the World Cup.
He’s yet to win a senior cap for his country, but he’s scored six goals in five Under-21s games.
Bayern Munich star Leon Goretzka recently called for Moukoko to be included in the squad.
He said: “It can never hurt to have goal-scoring players in the squad.”
