A MAN has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after an alleged stabbing in a busy city centre – as a woman is arrested.
Armed officers were scrambled after the horror unfolded in Brighton, East Sussex, this morning.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “At around 10.30am, police were called to a report that a man had been stabbed in George Street, Brighton.
“A 28-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“Officers deployed to the scene, and a 36-year-old local woman was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.”
