The reported incident is said to have happened at around 8:30am on March 17 in Handsworth, .
is now investigating the alleged sexual assault and has asked for help identifying a man.
Cops say they are keen to speak to the individual after CCTV enquiries were unable to identify him.
The force is asking anyone who recognises the man to come forward immediately.
West Midlands Police said: “We want to speak with him after a man was sexually assaulted on Road, Handsworth, at around 8.30am on 17 March.
“We have carried out enquiries including reviewing CCTV footage but have been unable to identify him.
