A MAN has died after getting into difficulty while swimming at sea.
Witnesses reported hearing the man shouting for help in the water at Havelet Bay, , on Monday evening.
The coastguard, fire and ambulances crews, and cops attended the incident.
The man, who was later identified as 40-year-old Razibul Hasan, was given but sadly died at the scene.
Guernsey has said: “Officers have been closely liaising with Mr Hasan’s family since this incident.
“We would like to express our condolences with them at this difficult and tragic time.”
