HEADING into matchday four, Man City and Dortmund are separated only be goal difference in the top eight ahead of their clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Man City vs Dortmund preview
Before a ball is kicked in this matchday four week, Man City and Dortmund are locked together in the Champions League standings in 7th and 6th, respectively.
The pair are separated by just one goal after their three matches to date and arrive at this fixture in decent nick.
City were met with a tricky fixture on Sunday when high-flying Bournemouth visited and their 3-1 victory was a great one to keep them in the Premier League mix.
They’re six points off leaders Arsenal ahead of turning their attentions to Europe and another victory here will put them in a great position for a top eight spot come the end of the group matches.
Much of that is to do with Erling Haaland who continued his outrageous scoring spree at the start of this season with another brace.
That’s now 17 goals in 14 games for City this season ahead of facing his former side here.
Like City, Dortmund find themselves trailing in their domestic fight (seven behind Bayern) but defeat to the Bundesliga leaders is their only loss this season so should arrive here with plenty of belief.
Two unbeaten records in this competition and it could well continue that way….

Man City vs Dortmund predictions
Haal or nothing
You simply have to back him to score, right?
The anytime price of around 4/11 is absurd even though it’s very likely going to land but this has the potential of a real high-scoring affair and just like Sunday, he’s being backed for a brace.
- Erling Haaland to score 2+ goals at 2/1 with William Hill – CLAIM HERE
