MANCHESTER CITY could lose a staggering tens of millions in sponsorship deals after being found guilty of breaching financial regulations.

The UAE-based sponsors may show leniency over the guilty verdict but other partners are likely to be examining the terms of their deals.
Agreements between l clubs and sponsors are often revisited for renegotiation and termination.
That usually happens after the relevant club gets relegated or fails to qualify for Europe.
However, deals also include lucrative bonuses based on European qualification or silverware success.
Therefore, a large number of City’s sponsors may look to renegotiate or even exit their deals in the event of relegation.
