FORMER Leeds chief Jesse Marsch has launched a scathing attack on Manchester City – and sensationally claims other clubs were aware of regulation breaches.
An independent commission sent shockwaves through football when they of breaking the Premier League’s financial rules.


And Marsch, 52, reckons top-flight chiefs should throw the book at City despite an following the bombshell verdict.
The American failed to steer Leeds to Premier League safety during the 2022/23 season.
It came after City snatched key man Kalvin Phillips away from Elland Road in a .
Marsch has blasted the Sky Blues, who were found guilty of more than 100 charges, and reckons they deserve to face relegation.
The Canada boss told The Guardian : “I think City should be punished severely.
“I think they should have to go down, and by the way, everyone knew about it. Everyone knew.
“That summer [2022], us and City were the only teams that said we made money.
“For us, we did make money, because we , we sold Kalvin Phillips.












“We had a lot left over from what we bought. At the time, we weren’t in a position financially to not save.
“Our ownership didn’t have deep pockets. Whereas when City says this, I was literally like, ‘Are you kidding me? Is this some kind of joke?’
“When they said they , it’s like: ‘Yeah, OK, sure!’
“I knew there were inconsistencies in it, but what can you do? You just put your arms in the air and go, ‘This is football’.”
