MAN CITY thumped Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge as they cut Arsenal’s lead to just six points in the title race.
Pep Guardiola’s men arrived in West London knowing a win was vital after Arsenal were beaten at home to Bournemouth.

And while it took them some time, City eventually broke the deadlock after the interval through Nico O’Reilly’s header.
With the floodgates open, City then pounced as defender Marc Guehi produced a fine finish into the bottom corner.
Moises Caicedo was then caught in possession as Jeremy Doku then punished him by lashing in the third.
Pep Guardiola’s men now have a chance to cut the gap to just three points should they beat rivals Arsenal next week – and they still have a game in hand to play against Crystal Palace.
