A MAN has been arrested following the death of a 75-year-old woman in an alleged burglary.

Police were called to a property in North London on the evening of Tuesday August 22 to reports of a burglary.

75-year-old Rose Smith was shortly after taken to hospital, where she tragically died the following day.

Jeffrey Dean Rose, 46, has been arrested in connection with the investigation, cops said.

He has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated burglary with intent.
