A MAN has been charged with the murder of a beloved father who was stabbed to death on Saturday, August 30.
28-year-old Kailem Gibson was described to have had “heart of gold”, and died in hospital after being stabbed in Manchester.


A man was remanded in custody and appeared in court today charged with Kailem’s murder.
A 44-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, but has since been released on bail.
Enquiries into “the deeply loved son, brother, father, boyfriend, nephew, cousin, and friend” are still ongoing.
Following Kailem’s death, his family said: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kailem Reece Gibson, who left us on 29 August 2025, at the young age of 28.”
They added: “He touched the lives of everyone he met with his warm smile, kind spirit, and heart of gold.”
