But one person took to TikTok to question a mark near the investment banker’s nose as he and dentist Nelly, 30, said ‘I do’.

The social media user posted a clip zooming into Steven’s face and wrote: “No wonder Steven is having the best day of his life [eyes emoji] [snowflake emoji].”

She added: “I really hope it’s just the lighting.”

Steven was quick to respond, commenting: “Can confirm that is my scar. I get it all the time as well so you’re not the first.”

The scar is from injuries Steven suffered after a.

He was left with a fractured cheekbone and shattered teeth which meant undergoing extensive reconstructive surgery.

He told the Daily Mail: “My positive outlook, why I am the way I am today, the way I see the world… is because of that attack. At first it was like I’ve got scars on my face, people are going to see me a little bit differently.

“But now I see them as the reason I am who I am. It’s character building. It shows that I’ve won, and they lost.”

The dad-of-two was in a face mask for six months after the brutal attack, and, as a result, he didn’t want to leave the house.

He’d left a nightclub on his own when the horror attack happened by the group of men, and says he’d had a minor disagreement with them at college previously.

“I fractured my right cheekbone, I’ve damaged my teeth, I’ve got a few scars on my chin,” Steven said.

He added: “I shattered my nose, so I’ve still got a slight bend in there, but I had reconstructive surgery.”
