However, broke the rules by leaving the event to sit on the toilet floor to avoid having dinner with the other women.
Both husbands, who are going through a difficult time in their relationships, left the table seconds after meeting their matches.
Scott could be heard telling David: “I felt sick. I don’t care how it looks. I’m just going to try to fix my relationship. I’m not going to give anyone else the opportunity.”
David agreed: “We did the right thing.
“I’m staying true to myself.
“I only have room for one ring on this finger.
“When your heart is thinking about one person, I don’t have time for small talk.”
However, one of the other husbands, Danny, was horrified to discover they were in hiding.
He said: “To leave the table was one thing, but hiding together in the toilet?
“I can’t! Hiding together in a toilet… 50 years ago, men were dying in trenches.
“Now we have men hiding in toilets because they’re scared to talk to a woman?
“I’ve never seen such cowards in my life.”
