“The incident took place at approximately 23:05. The closures are anticipated to last for a few more hours.”
“The M5 in Somerset is closed northbound between Junction 21 near Weston-super-Mare and Junction 20 near Clevedon due to a police-led incident.”
“The southbound route is closed from Junction 19 to Junction 21.”
Avon and Somerset Police have advised drivers to consider alternative routes, as diversions are currently in effect.

Northbound drivers should follow the solid triangle symbol on road signs, while southbound travelers are advised to follow the hollow circle.
