LUKE LITTLER showed proper boxing dedication by showing up for Fabio Wardley’s world title defence against Daniel Dubois FIVE hours early.

The 19-year-old sensation took his ringside VIP seat at Manchester’s Co-Op Live arena just in time for the sensational 6pm knockout win Javokhir Ummataliev celebrated with a bullseye of a backflip.

The teenage arrows ace watched the 21-year-old Uzbek southpaw finish Damian Drabik in the second round, with a thunderous left hook.

And the handful of fans who had travelled over from the Tashkent capital had their flag flying and voices booming as they chanted “Javokhir! Javokhir!”

The oche heavyweight has teased the idea of taking on a bout for himself.

In February he watched his Warrington pal Luke Turner moved to 2-0 with a win in Liverpool.

And he told broadcasters Dazn that the only thing stopping him from risking it all in the ring was his worried girlfriend.

When asked about having a fight, he said: “I’d love to, but the missus does not want me to.”

The teen talent added that he could be featured on a future card for the unlicensed influencer brand.

“I’d love to,” he added. “A one-off definitely, on Misfits.”

The two-time world champ already has a readymade opponent in Mensur Suljovic who slammed him this week.

Littler, , Stephen Bunting and Gerwyn Price are not playing in this weekend’s Austrian Darts Open in Graz.

Speaking to Darts News, the Austrian said: “Players Championships – I don’t like this format.

“Because of the Premier League, the best players don’t come.

“A new winner every time – unfortunately, this is ruining our rankings. We need a shorter calendar, but the PDC isn’t doing anything about it.

“Our rankings are suffering because of this. They (top players) have to be there. They absolutely have to be.

“The European Tour is one of the most important tournaments – and the major ones. Now nobody’s coming. What’s the point of all this? What’s the point?

“Players Championships, okay, someone can always withdraw. But not the European Tour. isn’t coming to any tournament. That’s just not right.

“Our ranking is suffering because of this. We play in and they don’t come to the Players Championships – how is that possible?”
