LUKE LITTLER reckons he could ditch his darts for Phil Taylor’s and still do damage.
– a 16-time world champion – is widely considered the sport’s greatest of all time.

But 18-year-old is already being hailed as one of the most talented throwers we have ever seen.
TalkSPORT recently issued ‘The Nuke’ a series of challenges using Taylor’s new 22-gram GX2 Target darts.
The arrows are a gram lighter than those Littler normally uses, while they also have a shorter tip and smaller flights.
But Littler was so pleased with his performance, he is considering making them his default equipment.
When asked whether he would consider a full-time change, the teenager said: “Possibly. I’ve always loved Phil’s darts.
“I think my dad tried a set he brought out years and years ago.
“For myself, I know I can stack, I know I can put them in flat. But, yeah, we’ll have to see in a few years, maybe, maybe. I’m getting excited now!”
Taylor was full of fighting talk before the start of the challenge.
He told Littler: “You’ve won what you’ve won with your darts, now try the Power’s darts – the GOAT’s darts!”
Taylor’s trophy cabinet blows Littler’s out of the water, even if the youngster is setting records left, right and centre.
‘The Power’, 65, picked up a staggering 79 televised titles to go along with his 16 global crowns.
Littler has a long way to go but he has already racked up six major PDC titles – including this year’s World Darts Championship, which made him £500k richer.
