LUKE LITTLER intends to treat his girlfriend, Faith Millar, to a shopping spree following his remarkable £1 million victory at Ally Pally.

“You bid, and they open a box; then they say you receive Cristiano Ronaldo , and you get a Ronaldo card. I will treat myself to that.”

Littler commented on his million-pound prize: “It’s life-changing. Even for this tournament, the first-round prize was doubled.

“This victory has widened the gap, and I’m firmly on track for No.1.”

While Littler may have secured a remarkable million over the weekend, he is also aware of his financial responsibilities.

He will need to pay an astounding £458,843 in taxes, along with £22,011 in National Insurance.
