But in a video shared on his Instagram, Littler showed what he got up to before silencing the boos in Liverpool.

First, he danced in the car as he made his way to Merseyside and put on some Louis Vuitton aftershave.

And he even offered to make them a sponsor. He said: “I’d put you on my shirt.”

He then opened many packs of stickers for his sticker book, similar to the fabled Premier League ones.

Finally, alongside his girlfriend Faith Millar, Littler tried on a penguin bucket hat.

He said: “Shoutout to Justin Hood for these absolutely banging bucket hats.”

Littler is sitting three points behind Jonny Clayton in the Premier League standings.

Only five nights remain: Aberdeen, Leeds, Birmingham, Sheffield and the final in London.

The 19-year-old has also been at the centre of a debate lately with Mo Farah: Who would win a half-marathon that would demand both competitors stop at every mile marker and complete a 501 checkout across the 13.1-mile course.

Boxer has been trying to orchestrate bringing this idea to life, but whether it actually happens or not remains fairly far-fetched.
