Luisa Zissman’s brutally honest reason for skipping her daughter’s school play has divided fans and opened her up to mum-shamers.

The podcast host and content creator, 38, had co-host Anna Williamson in stitches as she explained why she didn’t attend the performance of Mary Poppins.

She said: “I’m not f***ing going because she’s got a s****y ensemble part, there’s no air con in there, it’s a non-speaking part and I’m not going.

“Because I have to work today and it’s very much a stress doing everything I had to do today.

“I had a conference call from 8 until half 9 and then we have to record the pod and then I have more content to film and nanny Nat went and she went ‘honestly, it’s s**t’.”

Becoming increasingly worked up, Luisa continued: “All she does is sing in a s****y bonnet an it’s f***ing hot in there and it’s not worth your time going.

“I’m not interested in going to see her unless she’s got a main part.”

Ramping the controversy up further, she then revealed she missed her other daughter Clemmie’s woodwind recital because it was too noisy.

The comments on Instagram were full of strong opinions both for and against.

One person wrote: “Oh this is so sad. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad it’s about your daughter seeing her mummy in the audience.”

Another said: “Content can be done anytime. Your kids are only young once.”

Seeing the funny side, another posted: “I’m dying at this!!!!!!!

While a supportive fan wrote: “Finally a parent said it.”

Former The Apprentice star Luisa has three children. Her eldest, Dixie, 16, is from her first marriage to entrepreneur Oliver Zissman, while Indigo, nine, and Clemmie, eight, are from her marriage to businessman Andrew Collins.
