And the Bethany Platt actress gave fans an honest update on the goings-on of mum life over on her stories on Monday.
, 29, appeared in her pink pyjamas and dressing gown and said to fans: “I didn’t want to come on and be really attention seeking but here I am.
“We have had a weekend. It has been filled with sickness, and A&E visits and everything.”
Lucy shared a look at her adorable tot Nancy as she filmed the video, who could be seen playing.
Updating fans on the poorly tot, the actress continued: “I don’t know who I am anymore. Poor Nancy is literally so sick.
“Look at her eye, I just cannot. I cannot even cope – she’s been vomiting, she has a throat infection, an ear infection and an eye infection.
“She has two top teeth coming through and a sickness bug. But yeah, that’s just a reality check. Life comes at you really fast.”
Lucy, 29, and partner Ryan, 28, are near Ormskirk, .
She reprised her role as Bethany in July – seven months after welcoming baby Nancy.
Lucy and Ryan met on so-called “celebrity ” dating app at the end of 2020, following her split from actor Tom Leech, and within months she was .
Sadly, Lucy suffered a miscarriage, but after conceiving again, the couple welcomed Sonny in January 2023, and just over a year later, Lucy accidentally fell pregnant with Nancy – news she says was terrified of sharing with her Corrie bosses.
“I was in the green room with everybody and they were talking about story lines, and I felt tears falling,” recalls Lucy.
“I called Caroline, our cast liaison, and she was like, ‘This [pregnancy] is good news. Why are you crying?’ Then I went into the producer’s office in tears and she was obviously really nice about it. I’d built it up, thinking everyone was going to be so annoyed.”
Since returning from maternity leave, Lucy says she hasn’t been filming for more than two consecutive days at a time – something she secretly enjoys.
“It’s quite a nice break,” she chuckles. “I’ve found it harder – much harder – this time around with two.
“Yesterday and the day before, I was in The Rovers, I didn’t really have anything to say. I was just watching it all unfold. Obviously, if I was given a story line, great! But, equally, if I’m having a nice time with the Platts, that’s perfect.”
