LOVE Island star Lucinda Strafford’s family were forced to issue a statement last night jumping to her defence as she was the centre of controversy.
The star, who is appearing on the show for the fourth time, not only but also ‘s loyal viewers.

Sean Stone and have been getting to know each other but were kept apart for the last couple of days, with Belle .
And in just three days Candyman Sean, 26, made the decision to hot things up with Lucinda – creating another love triangle.
Confessing their feelings on the terrace, Lucinda gushed: “We’re naughty Sean!”
But a romantic night for the pair was soon ruined as the USA villa inhabitants burst back into the main villa, with Belle asking: “Where’s Sean?”

Lucinda’s family were forced to hit back at fans after last nights tumultuous instalment.
They said: ” After tonight’s episode, we just wanted to remind everyone that Love Island is a TV show. It’s about exploring connections and being true to yourself, which is exactly what Lucinda is doing.
“The hate she’s receiving is not okay on any level. Please remember that she will be coming out of the villa and seeing these comments, just like her family and friends are too.
“Words have impact, and this kind of negativity is unkind and damaging. Let’s remember to be kind. Not only to Lucinda, but to everyone.”

Appearing to play dumb, Lucinda, 26, replies: “With what sorry?”
Belle rages: “Lucinda, seriously, man just give me a minute. Yeah just now’s not the f**k**g time mate.
“I know what your f**k**g doing as well. The minute my f**k**g backs turned.”
The star then told her villa pals that Lucinda doesn’t even like Sean and is using him for a “storyline” and “airtime.”
Earlier on Belle confronted businessman Sean.
She fumed: ” Look at me when your talking to me.
“Three days Sean, three f**k**g days, hear me out please three days. You see over there let me tell you.
“I’ve had a man come in been all over me like a f**k**g rash, tried to kiss me and I’ve gone ‘woah woah woah my respect for Sean.’
“Our connection has been solely based on the loyalty that we had for each other. Don’t you get that?
“Don’t you f**k**g get that? Is it not going in?”
Belle then exploded at Lucinda, who stood lingering nearby: “Can you go away?”
