CELEBS Go Dating star Lucinda Light broke down in tears as she confessed her heartbreaking fear that she may never fall in love again.

The former Married At First Sight Australia bride became emotional during a raw chat with dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul C. Brunson, admitting she believes there is a “loneliness epidemic” among middle-aged women.

The 45-year-old said: “There is such a huge mass of women in their middle age that are not being met, or found or touched or felt… There is a bit of a loneliness epidemic, and it’s so sad.”

Reaching for the tissues, Lucinda admitted dating has become harder as she’s got older.

She said: “It felt so easy in my 20s and 30s to fall in love and be in love… sometimes I give up hope.”

added: “All it takes is one person, and you are putting yourself in the position to find one.”

The self-confessed people pleaser also told the experts she worries she “isn’t everyone’s cup of tea”.

Lucinda also revealed she has suffered “pain and heartbreak” in the past, as well as “a lot of hatred” towards her body after previously being called overweight.

“It’s a continual journey to accept a bigger body,” she said, adding she has struggled with throughout her life.

The agency later sent Lucinda on two blind dates, asking her to decide which man she wanted to continue seeing on a longer date.

Thrilled with her matches, the star agreed to go on a second date with bearded axe thrower, Damien.
