Since then Charlie has kept his love life out of the spotlight – until now.
In his latest Instagram post, the former Islander, who is heir to the Brake Brothers empire, shared a slew of snaps from his jet set lifestyle, and there are a few pictures that catch the eye.
In the carousel of images, Charlie could be seen with a beautiful woman, who was sat on his lap.
Another pic saw the Love Island star and his new girlfriend enjoying a romantic boat ride on holiday.
Charlie is yet to reveal who his mysterious new love is, but this introduction on Instagram could be seen as him “soft launching” the romance.
The former Islander shot to fame on the fourth series of Love Island, which saw and win the show.
He met Ellie during Casa Amor and the couple left the show as a couple.
However, the pair split just months after, .
Charlie denied cheating and broke the news of their split on — with Ellie claiming she was in the dark.
The 2018 Islander previously spilled the tea and said: “He’d done it on his Instagram story and I know he said we spoke on the phone, but the phone call was me like, ‘I know what you’ve done’.”
Posting on her Instagram story, Ellie wrote after their split: “Firstly, I just want to say a massive thank you to everybody who has sent me lots of love since Tuesday but I beg you to please stop coming to me with articles that claim I brought this on myself.
“I am trying to deal with this as best and as quietly as a possible but it is hard and if you really believe that you are just as cowardly as the person who said it.
“By no means am I saying I was the perfect girlfriend but I adored Charlie from the bottom of my heart and he knows that.”
Charlie’s statement read: “Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways. I wish her all the best.”
The minted star, whose family sold their company for £434million in 2002, also had a brief stint .
He is the grandson of the founder of food catering company, Brakes.
