"Love Island Fans Call Out Aidan as 'Desperate' While Urging Him to 'Give It a Rest' in His Bid to Win Back Ellie"

LOVE Island fans have begged Aidan to “give it a rest” as he tried to reignite his romance with Ellie last night.

Aidan and Ellie previously had a shortlived romance during the first week, before he had his head turned by bombshell Yasmin.

The property broker has had a difficult time in the villa with a string of romances that have gone awry, while Ellie has also had a rough time.

But Ellie’s luck changed when Finley entered and appeared to only have eyes for her, resulting in the pair growing close over the last three weeks.

However, over the last few days, Finley has bee entertaining newcomer Elicia and on last night’s show they enjoyed a kiss on their double date.

It comes after Elicia stole Finley in the recoupling, while new boy Ethan also coupled up with Priya, stealing her off Aidan.

Priya admitted she was going to explore things with Ethan and even puckered up for a kiss during their vineyard date.

With yet another love triangle emerging, Aidan wasted no time in suggesting that he and Ellie rekindle their flame after finding themselves both single.

Sleeping on the spare beds, Aidan went over to give Ellie and hug and said: “We should rekindle an old flame.”

But Scottish stunner Ellie replied: “Please don’t,” to which Aidan said: “Why not? Do you know what… the flame was never out.”

Ellie then told him to cheekily “f*** off”.

But fans have mocked Aidan for coming off as “desperate” now as he struggles to lock down a relationship with final fast approaching.

One wrote: “Already love Ellie but her instantly telling Aidan to f*** off when he suggested rekindling their thing, she’s one of the Love Island greats easily.”

This person said: “See Aidan soft launching the Ellie thing??? I’M SICK OF THIS GUY. He’s legit so icky to me.”

“Ellie would rather go home than couple up with Aidan,” a third posted.

This viewers wrote: “Is Aidan trying to run it back with Ellie? This man is actually so shameless and desperate EWW.”

“Aidan sniffing round Ellie like she will go for him in a moment of weakness is so pathetic,” another added.

Monday night’s episode saw Finley and Elicia kiss after they went on a double date with Ethan and Priya.

As the pair sat in the middle of a field, Finley was being cheeky when he decided to get up out of his seat to smooch the stunning bombshell.

As this played out, Ellie was seen back at the villa panicking and worrying about Finley – whom she still clearly has deep feelings for.

Kissing Elicia on the lips, Finley claimed the smooch was small, but it lasted several seconds, leaving viewers shocked.

Fellow Islander Priya, who was on the double date and sat at the other table, saw the smooch in realtime.

Taken aback, Priya said that Ellie would be fuming when she found out about the kiss.

After returning from the date, Finley told Ellie he was committed to her and promptly ended things with Elicia.

But despite this, the episode ended with Finley lying in bed with Elicia, before being sent out to the sunbeds to sleep alone.

Given how things have played out throughout the episode, viewers were left pleading that Ellie should leave the villa behind and forget about her connection with Finley entirely.

One person wrote on X: “If I was Ellie I wouldn’t give these dang producers the satisfaction, just pack my bags in silence and leave.”

Another added: “Yeah Ellie’s already at Heathrow ready for aftersun on Sunday #loveisland.”

It comes as Ellie from the villa in recent episodes.
