When Maya, 31, said Sean’s name the camera panned to a very annoyed-looking , 25, who was seen pulling his arm from around and putting his head down.

The presenter asked Sean: “Are you happy? You look shocked.”

He replied: “I’m a bit confused, I can’t lie. It’s just been an emotional journey so far. But I’m very grateful for that, I appreciate that.”

When asked why he thought the public picked him, Sean said: “I feel like I’ve made mistakes in here but I’ve learned from them along the way and just tried to be straight up and honest with situations.”

Throughout Sean’s speech, Scott could be seen looking increasingly fuming while looking around.

Scott was previously voted the public’s favourite boy but it seems the tide has turned after .

The footballer – nicknamed ‘Producer Scott’ by his co-stars – took it upon himself to get involved when Sean kissed , who at the time was coupled up with .

In Tuesday night’s episode .

Each star had to pick a box containing a particular trait and read it out loud before giving it to the Islander they felt deserved the title.

Scott decided to give Sean the ‘pot-stirrer’ label and went on to lay into him over the kiss with Belle, 27 – despite her jumping in to insist it was down to her to tell Shaq if she snogged someone else.

“When I came in and said something to you after what I’d seen as a viewer, and the first few days I thought maybe I actually got it wrong,” Scott said. “But I think I actually got it right and you’ve not grown as a person.”

An emotional Sean replied: “Look Scott, you’ve had your moment, you’ve smashed it mate.

“I think you’ve been picking on me since day one. You had your moment when you first came in and humiliated me.”

He then said he felt Scott had been ‘bullying’ him, which left the footballer raging.

Scott rushed to defend himself, swiping: “I don’t conform to your tears.”

The two men later spoke again and during the awkward chat decided they were never going to be friends, with Scott telling Sean: “I’ve been listening to what’s going on the last couple of days and I stand by every f****** word I said.”
