"Love Island Heartthrob with Signature Hairstyle Opens Up About His Hair Transplant Journey"

A LOVE Island hunk with one of the show’s most iconic hairstyles has revealed he has shaved it all off for a hair transplant.

Konnor Ewudzi, who rose to fame on the 11th series of the show, became well-known for his unique dreadlocks style.

Having appeared on All Stars earlier this year, he is now facing a totally different challenge.

Konnor has opted to undergo a hair transplant at the British Hair Clinic in Essex.

Confessing he is “not embarrassed” about undergoing the procedure, he compared his cosmetic improvements to a girl undergoing Botox or a boob job.

Speaking about going under the knife to fix his receding hairline, Konnor said: “Honestly the way that I see it is that girls get their boobs done, they get Botox, they get hair extensions – why shouldn’t men get a hair transplant?

“Why is it so taboo? I genuinely don’t understand the negative connotations involved!”

Discussing his iconic hairstyle before chopping it off, Konnor added: “I had dreads for years – had them in my first stint when I had long dreadlocks tied up a lot.

“I think it was the wearing it up that put tension in the front and pulled on it quite a bit, and that’s where I have noticed my hairline dissolving.”

Ahead of undergoing the transplant, Konnor is now sporting a totally shaved look – which is usually common practice ahead of a full hair transplant.

Konnor added: “Being a barber myself I know quite a bit about hair, but I didn’t know how it was going to go and was a bit nervous before I went in.

“Dr Zabeeh and the team were amazing and made me feel so comfortable. I’ve come to the best in the game.”
