EAGLE-EYED Love Island fans have noticed Yamen Sanders’ ‘copying’ Whitney Adebayo’s ex Lochan Nowachi for their romantic date – did you spot it?
The lovebirds left the villa during Tuesday’s instalment of the show as they enjoyed their very first date.
Eagle-eyed Love Island fans spotted that Yamen was wearing the same shirt Whitney’s ex Lochan wore on their date in 2023

The two were treated to a charcuterie board and drinks as they opened up about their feelings for one another.
However, as fans tuned in, they realised Yamen was wearing the exact same shirt Lochan wore during season 10 when he and Whitney went on their date.
Yamen chosen to wear the khaki green shirt with cream and beige asymmetric shapes all over it, the same one that Lochan wore three years prior.
One viewer posted a side by side collage of the two men in the shirt with Whitney as they wrote on : “I SCREAMED, not the same shirt chile.”
Fans were left in disbelief and couldn’t believe the coincidence as one commented: “Someone tell me this is AI cause this is messy AF!”
Another person asked: “I beg ya pardon @LoveIsland what is the meaning of all dissss?”
Somebody else enthused: “LOL I smell production all over this! WTF! Crazy omg. They are trolling so bad.”
While yet another added: “Ya’ll play too much. I can’t with ya’ll.”
Whitney didn’t let on that her new boo was wearing the same shirt as her ex or if she remembered for that matter.
But she did seemingly with one particular comment.
She admitted to Yamen that she was worried this time around on the show wouldn’t top her time with Lochan.
Whitney expressed: “I wasn’t hopeful.
“Last time I came in here, I obviously left with a long-term relationship. So, I didn’t think something could top that last experience.”
In what felt like a swipe, she continued: “I feel like it has been topped.”
Reaching the final with Lochan on series 10, the pair were together for almost two years before splitting in April 2025.
Things then turned sour later in the year when Whitney and Lochan, respectively spoke out about the factors that caused their split on , with Whitney alleging Lochan had called her skin “dirty”.
Lochan then claimed this was defamatory to his character and took legal action, with the former couple heading for a High Court showdown.
They then before it reached the legal boiling point.
At the end of last year, a source told The Sun: “Lochan and Whitney have quietly ended their dispute and are moving on.
“Both of them instructed legal teams and, what came to pass, was that this was going to end up as a very ugly, and very expensive, row.
“People who know both Lochan and Whitney have said the dispute has now been ended and that they’re just moving on with their lives.”
Whitney and Yamen met for the first time when some of the main villa headed to villa where six new bombshells were waiting.
The pair immediately hit it off and have only had eyes for one another since.
After ending things with a few weeks ago, pulled Yamen to the Secret Garden for a chat, but he insisted he was only interested in Whitney.
