LOVE Island pair Priya Jiswal and Aidan Murphy face an awkward reunion tonight at the National TV Awards in London, just hours after The Sun revealed they have split.

A source said: “It’s very uncomfortable for them, as the break-up is really fresh and the last thing you want is to have to paint on a smile and have the nation watching as you’re seated right by your ex on national telly, less than a few days after calling it quits.
“It’s surprising that they both want to be there, but neither wants to miss their moment as next year they’ll be a whole new cast who’ll attend instead so they’ll just have to grin and bear it.”
Another recent villa star will also be at the ceremony, , but fortunately for Yas, we’re told Tommy will not be there.
“Tommy isn’t on the list for tonight, so Yasmin will be spared that awkwardness. Poor Priya won’t get the same reprieve,” our source added.
The Sun was first to reveal , after realising they are better off as friends.
The couple surprised fans when they decided to give things a go in the real world after calling it a day in the villa, the night before they left in sixth place.

A source said: “Since leaving Love Island and experiencing life outside together, Aidan and Priya have realised they’re better off as mates.
“They had a rollercoaster friends to lovers journey on the show and there were times they thought that could translate outside the villa but they’ve decided they’re just better suited as friends.
“This is totally mutual and they have loved their time together so will be cheering each other on as they navigate the next chapter solo.”
The National TV Awards airs tonight at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
