LOVE Island’s Angelista has revealed why her parents were shocked she’s heading into the Mallorca villa this summer – and her plans to be the new Millie Court or Ekin-Su.
The 24-year-old told how her “life is pretty boring,” going to work, coming home and occasionally hitting a bar with her girls for a “cute little wine.”

So you can imagine Angelista’s parent’s surprise when she announced she’d be one of the this summer.
The nurse, from Staffordshire, confessed her parents were shocked because “is just not me at all.”
Speaking to The Sun and other media , Angelista said: “They were surprised. They were definitely surprised because this is something that is just not me at all.
“It’s so far out of reach for me but I think that’s why it’s fun for me right now because it’s like, oh my gosh, none of you expected this.”
Her parents are not familiar with the show or her life.
She continued: “I don’t know they even know what to expect. They know that I’m just going to be me but like in terms of just the type of games and stuff like that, they don’t know that side of me.”
Angelista is one of the more experienced daters making their debut, having tried in-person, on Instagram and a dating app.
“I’ve tried that, gone nowhere. So it’s like, the last thing is at this point, like f**k it,” she said.

If she makes it to the talent show Angelista said she’ll probably end up playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the piano – the instrument that led both Millie and Ekin-Su to go viral.
Season seven Islander, Millie, played an off-key version of Perfect by meanwhile Ekin performed a rendition of A Time For Us from Romeo and Juilet.
was never on Angelista’s radar but after being single for three years and told by girls on nights out that she “looked like someone” who would be on the show she decided to take a chance and apply.
She said: “I half applied, half reached out because I started the application form, filled out my contact details and the pictures part and then one of the girls just immediately reached out to me like a couple days later so I didn’t even finish the application.”
Angelista is not here for the drama or confrontation and said: “I’m just going to be myself. That’s the best I can do.”
Love Island series 13 is set to return to on Monday June 1.
