LITTLE MIX star Perrie Edwards is making a surprise appearance in the upcoming documentary Girlbands Forever on the BBC.
It’s a shock because other groups including and all declined to be a part of it, probably because last year’s Boybands Forever didn’t exactly pour glory on the phenomenon.

Nor did it include , who were formed on in 2010 which had most viewers thinking they didn’t feature because they weren’t part of the “original era of the boyband” in the Nineties and Noughties.
The same rules clearly haven’t applied to , however, as they were formed in 2011, on the same talent show as 1D.
Producer said: “Going back and rediscovering all that music and those videos and the interviews they did has been an absolute pleasure.
“There was pain behind the music, too, and as is so often the case there was price to be paid for that level of young fame.
“But mainly we wanted this to be a celebration of a time of very special music and talent.”
Other contributors will be Heidi Range from , Kéllé Bryan of Eternal and ‘s .
Joining them are All Saints’ Melanie Blatt, Su-Elise Nash of Misteeq as well as of NDubz.
Other talking heads will include Pete Tong, Pete Waterman and Scott Mills.
I wonder if it will also feature who was on the boybands doc last year talking about this golden era of pop.
Girlbands Forever will air later this year on BBC Two and iPlayer.
