Yinka Thesien, former partner of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has publicly expressed remorse for her past actions and hurtful remarks directed at the actor.
DAILY POST recalls that Thesien, in an earlier interview with Uche Maduagwu, disclosed that her relationship with Pete Edochie’s son, Linc, began after she claimed his ex-wife, Amaka, had been unfaithful. She also went on to reveal sensitive family information during that conversation.
In a recent Instagram video, Thesien offered a heartfelt apology to Linc, explaining that her previous comments were made from a place of pain and were never intended for public consumption.
The abroad-based woman emphasised that she has since forgiven Linc and clarified that anyone disseminating hateful messages about him is not acting on her behalf.
Yinka said, “Hello everyone I decided to make this video to apologise to Linc. You know sometimes when we are hurting we come from a position of pain, we say things we should not have said. I am guilty of it. I am not perfect. I am saying it now, Linc, I am sorry in any way I have hurt you; find it in your heart to forgive me.
“When we came on social media it was to share a love that was beautiful. Anybody disseminating information or saying mean things about Linc is not acting on my behalf. I have forgiven him. He is an awesome and kind man. I apologise for everything I said or did to hurt him.”;
DAILY POST compiled some of the reactions that followed the apology video.
