Rosenior tends to keep his family’s private life away from public attention, but some information has emerged.

Erika shares a family home with her husband and their children in Derbyshire.

The couple has four daughters together.

As of early 2025, Erika and the children remained in Derbyshire and had not moved to France, where Liam manages Strasbourg.

Nonetheless, he frequently returns home during international breaks to spend time with his family.

Who is Liam Rosenior?

Liam was born in Wandsworth, London, on July 9, 1984.

He grew up deeply involved in football, largely influenced by his father, Leroy Rosenior.

Leroy, a respected striker, had a 16-year professional career that included stints with various clubs.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Liam made his senior debut for Bristol City in April 2002.

Just a year later, he demonstrated his potential by scoring in the Robins’ Football League Trophy final victory over at the Millennium Stadium.

His impressive performances caught the attention of Fulham, who signed him for £55,000.

Rosenior quickly became a regular for the Cottagers and earned seven caps for the England Under-21s before transferring to Reading in 2007.

Later, he played for Hull City and Brighton, concluding his career with retirement in 2018.

Transitioning smoothly into coaching, he initially balanced punditry work with mentoring Brighton’s Under-23s, before joining Derby County's coaching staff under Phillip Cocu in 2019.

When Wayne Rooney became manager in 2021, Rosenior was promoted to his assistant.

After Rooney's exit in June 2022, Rosenior briefly took over as Derby’s interim manager.

His first senior head coaching role came later that year when Hull City offered him a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Over two seasons, he implemented an attractive, possession-based style but parted ways with the club in 2024 after narrowly missing the playoffs.

Shortly after, he was named manager of Ligue 1 team Strasbourg, succeeding Patrick Vieira.

Rosenior was Rooney’s assistant at Derby during 2021 and 2022.
